So thanks to sfotex -- praise be! -- I'm planning to take my daughter on a birthday trip to Snowbird from May 30 to June 1. Before I bite the bullet and buy the plane tix, though... who's skied there recently, and how is it holding up?

I was there this past Sat and Sun. Saturday was really good spring conditions, Sunday was just a little bit warmer than ideal. Coverage is still fine everywhere, hardly any dirt or rocks poking through. It looks like we are in for some snow the next couple of days and the extended forecast shows it staying fairly cool through Wed.
Not been for a while, but calling this number, 801.933.2100.
Saying snow tonight.
Awesome. Bought the plane tix this morning, skiing next Friday through Sunday. Now I just need to decide where to stay, probably the Cliff Lodge since everything's so dirt cheap.

reporting 13" this morning, snowed hard here in pc till about 11:30, lifts only running fri-sun. still have a 150" base, i'd say skiing will be good
Just booked tickets from SFO. Let me know if anyone wants to make some turns or grab a few beers. Should be a good way to end the season.
I'm gimped up and have a few days left on a pass. Will trade for a Bob Marley sticker. Pm me if you want one of them .

Not everything is open, but there is plenty of snow. Currently 13 new inches of snow at the base. You likely won't get any of it, but it will slow the melting down. I was up on saturday and it was awesome. Tomorrow should be even awesomer.
setting up real heavy with the warm temps and cloud cover. early am was good, but by1pm the snow was not good. numerous wet sluffs throughout the resort.
Not good?
It's better than ice or slush right?
Snowbird now reports 17" in 48 hours.
Bring yer R/R or super fatties and you'll be loving it.
See y'all in the AM!
There's nothing better than sliding down snow, flying through the air

More stoke, less shit.
Trip = booked. Flying into SLC Thursday night, driving to SLC, staying at the Cliff Lodge for convenience ($122/night including breakfast for 2; would've been <$100 without), skiing in the mornings, swimming, reading and relaxing in the afternoons. A nice 11th birthday gift for girly-girl.
Bushwacker should be around -- anyone else?
