    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

    ^ No rattle.

I found a dead deer snagged in a strainer a few years back, after the spring melt. Worst. Smell. Ever.

Wow, that would seriously suck! (the elk situation)

    - yeah, I have been fishing the local spots quite a bit, but the catching has been slow so far. But, being out there is what its all about, right? Lately I have been fishing the river section in town, checking it out more. I caught a little brown yesterday afternoon.

At least you're fishin'. I'm gimped up with a bum right, (throwing side), shoulder...just moved into a new house and still organizing etc....the rivers are toast....and my wife is pregnant and doesn't fish. Therefore, I have started to hold a grudge against everyone who is fishing.

BTW, you have a kid, don't you? How do you manage fishing time when you have Dad duties? I've already been informed, (indirectly), by my Wife that my freedom is about to come to an end.

^ Your wife said, indirectly, that I could have all your fly gear for the cost of shipping.

Ha.....she would prolly go for that. She might ask for a pair of running shoes in trade to get my fat ass in shape over the summer.

Heh - I try to balance it when I can. On weekends, I fish in the afternoons when my daughter is napping, and I go back out sometimes in the evenings after she goes to bed (about 7:30) which gives me about an hour and a half of fishable light. Sometimes I'll fish longer on a Saturday and spend all day Sunday with the kiddo; let the wife have some time to go do her thing, etc.

It is certainly an adjustment, but you'll find a balance. It helps to have water close by. You can get out and make the most of your time. And if the cell phone rings, you can be back home relatively quickly.

Basically, I fish and that means I have to let my wife spend more money shopping.

Edit: When is the due date? Boy or girl? CONGRATS man! We are going to be in Driggs for the first week of July. I won't be able to get away too much to fish, but maybe we can swing by and say hello or something!
