    Surf Companies of the 80's

Some of these are long gone, some are still chuggin' along. Other than the obvious (Quicksilver,Billabong,ONeil), throw up some love from the glory days of neon, Occy and Tom Curren.

    I'll start:

    Instinct
    Hot Buttered
    Flojos
    Maui & Sons
    T&C
    Surfer's Alliance
    Lightning Bolt
    Jimmy'z
    Gotcha
    Stubbies
    Montani Semper Liberi

    Catchit- Boardshorts
    Peak- Wetsuits
    Breaker Out- Wetsuits
    Lanty- Wetsuits
    Victory- Wetsuits
Hotstuff- Boards (more late 70's, early 80's)

Uggs- oh wait, they came back.

Nothing like the Santee/El Cajon/Poway crew with giant pickups with HUDGE Bad Boy Club decals in the back window.

    And don't forget Vision.

Ripzalot, might those have been Rainbow sandals? If memory serves, I had some that looked like this:

    Classic, indestructible, and non-malodorous.

And back to the original post:

    Hang Ten!
