    Blizzard beta? (Titan 9.2)

Searched here and on powmag and couldn't find much info on the Titan 9.2 Looks like an interesting ski: 126-92-112 & full sidewall construction.

Anyone here have any beta on how it skis / flexes? Comparisons to other skis?

I saw a few shop techs on them at the end of last year. They all raved about it, said it was basically like the 8.2 with more float.

That's as helpful as I can be.

I searched for the same info on the ski the other day Tyrone and couldn't find anything good either. I'm heading to Austria in a week or so and am looking to maybe pick up a pair cheap for a touring set up. Maybe I can learn something over there.

If you find good prices for them or the 8.2 please post the shop details! I am considering both ski - the 8.2 for hard snow, the 9.2 for touring.

I skied with a fella who was riding them - absolutely raved about them.

You may want to contact Alpenglow in Golden, CO, those guys can't seem to shut up about the Blizzards, either. (303) 277-0133

    Shoe,

2 chronic backseaters I knew at Alta loved these skis ... if that means anything.

I think Duncan of TCA is on the 9.2 and I think he likes them... he doesn't spend much time in back seat. Mighty Mountain Sam was on the 9.2, but broke them while jumping into skating rink at Kirkwood. I don't think this is a reflection of poor durability, but of stupidity and excessive body mass.

Nater is on the 8.2, but who cares, he is a tele-hippy.

Who is that for 2nd hand info?

They softened the 8.2 (particularly in the tail) in this years model. I really liked last years version (but had them replaced twice for delam problems). This years is nothing special.

I'm looking to find a similar shaped ski with a stiff flex for all around use resort and bc. Very much considering the head iM 85.

9.2 don't know much about it, but it's supposedly a bit softer thanthe 8.2 (which is now pretty damn soft).

Nope, keeping the SN's and NKO's.....looking for a BC ski to be mounted with Freerides. I'm selling my 190 AK Rockets that I formerly had the Freerides mounted on (actually they're already sold).

Yo, ty. LTD at the Crescent V has a pair of demo 9.2s and a couple pairs on the rack too. Can't remember the price right now, but it was a good deal.
