I just got some 2.1 DTC Nevs for my trailbike. First time I've ridden Kendas, and I'm stoked. They are flimsy single ply tires, I flatted on my first ride. That said, they are smooth, fast rolling, and don't pack with mud easily. Basically I totally see why they are so popular in the east in the muddy/tacky/clay/rooty stuff.

Don't think I'd ride them back west though.
    I'm so hardcore, I'm gnarcore.

Or maybe you shouldnt run non-UST nevegals on a UST rim without a stanstrip?

performance wise for soft wet conditions they are great ,I found em noticably faster rolling from the 1st pedal stroke ,I found on a certain downhill I was on the brakes to keep from running into buddy up ahead ... whereas a week before I was just coasting along behind the rest of the crew on the original maxxis hi-rollers
I am running mine on the stock specialized rims (dt X430 rim) with a 20" BMX tube rim strip and stans. First tire I have been able to mount ghetto with just a floor pump. They lost a lot of pressure over night at first but once I rode them 3 times and sealed the beads for 30 min, it seems to be completely sealed and has held 30 psi for about a week. Actually the sidewalls never leaked at all on mine. First tire that I have seen that didn't leak when first inflated. Even the Spesh 2bliss casings leaked a little before sealing up. The side walls on mine seem pretty beefy compared to ever other tire I have used (run of the mill XC tires). Much beefier than Panaracer Cinder, WTB Weirwolf 2.35, or Spesh 2bliss / control casings.

So far I have put about 40 miles on my the 2.35 Nevs. They seem to be doing great both in the fairly tacky / slick trails here in Logan and in the loose soil, sand, gravel, and rock in Vernal.

I absolutely loved them on tacky days at Snowshoe.

Here, I'm not a fan. In the loose, dry stuff, they really don't corner very well; very unpredictable. Say what you will about being trendy, but there's a reason that every DH'er and their mother runs Maxxis here.

I love the 2.35 Nevegal. I ran the wire bead tubeless for a while, with no leakage issues. The folding bead version was the opposite. I couldn't get them to hold air. Good new is that a UST 2.35 was released this year. I can't wait to get them on my spot.

Also, go with the DTC. They corner just as well as the Stick-E, last longer, and roll a LOT faster.
