    DJD & Bone Spurs

Been dealing with a bit of knee pain for the last 8-9 months, it got worse over the season. I told myself I would deal with it when I could hear the words "no more skiing" and not shed a tear. I had X-rays taken a couple weeks ago, turns out I have Deteriorating Joint Disease (DJD), causing arthritis and bone spurs behind my left Patella (knee cap).

I'm currently in PT to curb the problem and stregthen the joint. It is hard to tell if it is getting better, the pain was always intermitent and I haven't skied in over a month. Just crious if anybody knows more about this or has dealt with the same issue. I am only 27, but I am pretty hard on my body. I am 6'2" 210lbs, athletic (used to be a DE), now I just ski, hike, and run a lot. I hope that I can get to some treking in the next couple weeks and be good for seasons to come, but I'm sticking to the links for now.
    Is it winter yet?
