    Little help??..sizing question

    Hey

I know theres alot of questions floating around like this but im having some problems making my decision. I havnt been in the sport to long so opinions are helpful as i dont have to much experience. I just bought a pair of 08 175 armada Arvs for a super sick deal. I bought them for ski patroling up grouse (pretty basic vancouver mtn) next season. I wanted something i could take everywhere. For work ill be on groomers, powder, cruddy snow and just about everything equal amounts. And on my off days ill be in the park (prob not much rails). I wanted something fun and maneuverable but i want it to be stable enough to. Im trying to decide whether i should exchange for 185s or not. Im 6'1" and 165lbs and i ski pretty aggressively.

If I keep the 175s im sure ill be fine but what would be the biggest challenge about them.

    Thanks alot for any help

Short skis suck, long skis truck. At 6'1" I would think the 175's would be waaayyy to short. IMHO

Depends how aggressively you're talking about here. If you're really powering through and going fast, you'll notice that they won't be as stable at high speed.

You also say that you haven't been in the sport too long, so I bet 175s would be fine to start out with, but you might regret it at some point.

edit: props to the JONG for finding the right forum.

    Thanks for the replys

Ill be skiing pretty aggressively but the mountain ill be on all the time dosnt really leave room for ripping to fast. and theres no wide open powder skiing..its mainly tighter short steep black runs which occasionally have some fresh pow on them in the mornings.

so ya basically I want the ski to be fun and easy to handle but at least be able to handle the powder and some drops without feeling to sketchy
