Tested a sick new adjustable seatpost tonight.

Out at my local Wednesday night weekly races tonight, there was a company showing off some prototypes of some new adjustable seatposts they'll be coming out with next season.

It's a really slick design....a seamless integration of the saddle and the proprieary seatpost (no bolts) that will be compatible with nearly every brand of seatpost out there. And forget that stupid 'height adjustable office chair' type technology that's been around for eons....these guys are breaking ground with some innovative stuff.

They let me race tonight with one of their posts and I finished well so they're putting me on their NorCal grassroots racing team. I'm so fucking rad!

It was a little 'creaky' & flexy...but they say that'll all be worked out with the production version.

Pics to come. I just went to take some pics but the batteries in the camera were toast, but they are charging, and I'll put up a pick or two tonight.

    EDIT: Replaced "" with ""

You need to start operating in this little place we call reality.

Motionbased won't adjust your seatpost height automatically.

    Just sayin'

Hopefully it will record the elevation changes.

'but they say that'll all be worked out with the production version.'

Best line ever! Do you hang around with many sales reps? If you listen close you might hear this line every now and again.

You'll pick up some time if you flip that bitch around. It'll still get great traction too.

Of course, I ordered a Joplin not 5 minutes ago. If it weren't for the "but they say that'll all be worked out with the production version", I'd be suffering from buyers remorse.

Edit - Forgot to congratulate you on your radness.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. I can totally sympathize with you. You were trying to figure out if your motion based would look best overlayed to regular maps or google earth.

    It happens.

Ha! I didn't even notice (obviously). That would have been the least of my worries last night anyway

I did get absolutely smoked last night though...went from a 6th and a 5th place finish the past two weeks to probably somewhere between 15th and 20th last night. It had to be the backwards tire...yeahhhhh......that's it

    bret - pics coming
