also, is it me, or does this have eric roner's name written all over it?
No doubt. I'm pretty sure the park service wouldn't approve, but a ski-baser ought to get on that one.

Oops, I let you look at the map again

Hey GB.....remember when we hiked Torries (sp?) with our alpine gear on our backs and skied Dead Dog (summer of '96 I believe). Was that your first 14er ski? Or did you already have a few to your name?
--I would like to take credit for starting you on this, but truth is I thought that ski was crazy at the time and wouldnt have dropped in if you weren't so damn convinced we had to.

Grays was actually first, but I believe that Torrey's was 2nd. I definitely remember climbing the Kelso ridge with our skis and I kept hitting my ski tips on all the rock moves. What was crazy about skiing dead dog, I don't remember that part?

and that right there folks is the difference between the size and quality of GB's ballzz and huckwheat's.

Thanks for the TR, another awesome day spent with gb, mbsc, don pedro and cjw. It's called Longs because it is Long x 2. So awesome to ski the peak I can almost see from my house if Meeker were not in the way. My 2nd 14er with mbsc, yet we have spent 30 or so hrs together. Can we do something shorter next time?

Well done. This is probably the line that I should aim for on Longs too.

The scary thing is that Huckwheat's balls are this big:

Do it soon if you can. You could run into some issues when that upper section is melted out, nothing too heinous, but nothing fun either.

meh, the only way he psyched himself up for those is by repeating over and over and over:
