Lived here one summer....broke my ankle falling off a cliff trying to get up on that snowfield hanging on the side of Mt Wilbur there. Love the place...

A few years before you were there. I worked out of the Many Glacier Ranger Station doing maintenance. Got a 4x4 with action bars, didn't have to wear a uniform so I kept my ponytail, and partied every night in the campground with people from everywhere. Needless to say, I wasn't that popular with the redneck Montana geeks I worked with, but they got over it when I wrecked the 4x4 and was transferred to St Marys.
