Alpenglow's been closed for two weeks now, but the ski patrol director called me up last night to see if I was still up for a few runs today. By the time I got up there, he'd already been taking runs with some random folks who showed up. There was well over a foot of powder, heavy, but very skiable. We fired up the T-bar, platooned to the top, turned it off, skied down, repeated. It's like having your own private resort! It never gets tracked out, you never have to worry about some idiot traversing across the fall line, and there's no lift lines!
I was so excited I forgot to grab my camera out of the car, but visibility was shit anyway. Here's one shot from the drive back down (and this is the good part of the road).
