Last summer due to lack of snow and desperation i took to skiing the local coal slag heaps near Scranton PA...found some video of it as I was packing to leave....

Fun video.
You'll have to come out and ski the sand dunes in Idaho. 600 feet vert and as steep as sand can stay without sliding. Snowboarder chicks always wanted us to give them rides to the top on the dunes on our 4 wheelers.
