Thumbs up Headin' to Moab this Weekend!

Jimmy Page and I will be there on Thursday night though Sunday. Look for the Smith pop-up tent in the sand flats campground. Or just PM me...it would be good to meet more mags!

I'm no Moab expert but I think all BLM spots are first come basis.

If it's not a "developed" camp ground (check in office) it's first come first served.

cool, anyone from SLC want to head down Friday night? I'm not definite yet but I also don't have anything else planned for the weekend and I could stand to get out of town.

FYI....We rolled into town last weekend at Friday about noon - Moab was PACKED!! Sandflats was full - we ended up in the field camping on Kane Creek Rd. I'm convinced that you can always find camping there (especially if you want to be close to town).

Also - it's Car Show weekend, so town is going to be crazy busy.

This weekend, it should be a zoo down there...with the car show, and all.

Well hopefully we'll be able to find something on Thursday night...maybe two spots together if enough people are committed? What say you?

Town will be busy due to Car Show - but the trails probably won't be any worse than last weekend. Crossing my fingers that UPS is dry!

    We'll be there sometime Friday.

I would love to tag along, however I don't get off work until 10PM Friday night. If you want to wait for me, send me a PM!

That's pretty much what time I'd be able to leave too. I'll let you know if it works out for me.

Rev, you should be okay finding a spot if you roll in on Thursday. Most of the car show folks stay in town, so you'll competing bikers and jeepers and moto-ers and such. The biggest issue is trying to eat in town, so I'd plan on doing some camp cooking.

Incidentally, watching the car show cars "cruise" main street makes for some great post-ride entertainment. Wish I could join you guys.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Ok, first of all...this is crazy talk. Its April 21, little bebe jebuz sez its time to ride bikes in the desert.

Also, its the Fruita Fat Tire Festival this weekend, so usually quite a few Colorado peeps don't make it over the border..which could make for some slightly better camping odds.

    Third. I'm hella jealous.

The skiing is not great right now but the biking is going off. Do we go biking when it snowing? Noooo. We'll get a few more storms and sneak some nice days /tours in. Right now, it's time to ride stuff.

So, what time you getting down to Moab?
