Thumbs up cold calling results, and a wedding picture

Well in less than a week my cold calling paid off and got me a position better than I could have expected. It is with a local accounting firm within a mile of my apartment and is initially part time until I graduate in December and then is full time after that. The partners said that many employees have gone back to get their masters while still working (that is my plan). They weren't bothered at all by my lack of experience because I am starting during the slower season and will have a degree and some experience by the time tax season rolls around. On top of the good job they gave me $50 to take my wife (for 2 weeks now) out to dinner. I guess Red Baron and Brad were right when they said it would work out. Thanks to everybody for the advice and the encouragement. Here's a picture from my wedding.

So that's where you've been. I knew the big day was coming up soon. I just didn't remember when. Congratulations, dude!
Does the new job mean more skiing time next season?

unfortunately no. It probably means less except during the early season. Typically during the tax season I'll have to work 6 day weeks. I should still be able to get in some Saturdays by working evening and skiing early. It does mean plenty of golf time next summer though. Unfortunately I chose a profession that doesn't help skiing time. It does allow for a good income potential though.

You did good, on both counts.

I was going to do a TPIWWOP (This post is worthless without pictures) but since you included a picture, it is changed to TPIAWWOMP (This post is almost worthless without more (preferably naked) pictures)

Good luck with the new job and the marriage!
