    Knee Ortho's in Seattle?

Can anyone recommend the best? Luckily not for me, but a snowboarding buddy evidentally took the toboggan down at Alpental last weekend. Sounds like a wrecked ACL/MCL deal. I did a search and came up with Dr. Michael Morris and Dr. Gregory Engel. Any other recommendations?

I had an ACL autograft hammy with Roger Larson 9 days ago. I am very pleased and at 9 days post surgery have a 0-110 range of motion and am walking without crutches, can already bike. Larson was recommended to me very highly and I would definitely recommend him. He is at UW. 90% of his 200 ACLs a year are hammies, so if thats what you are looking to do, I'd go with him. He also does some allografts.

The other name that consistently came up in my search was Zorn at Swedish medical.

I'm happy to share any more info with you.

The Seattle area is blessed more then its fair share of good ortho's.

The people I know personally used UW (Larson/Green) or Sweedish.

6 mo Post op and I'm itching for some real Alpental skiing this weekend. The snow should be good. I've been goofing off in my x-country gear on greens and light blues for the last two months.

I used Morris. Patellar autograft, rock solid. Treated me like I was a world class athlete (i'm not). The physical therapy team at VM Sports Medicine (his office) is also very good, which is important.
As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.
