    Dynastar Legends for Tele??

Has anyone around here used the Dynastar Legends as a Tele ski?

I'm thinking about using the 4800 as a sub-80 waisted ski for using on icy hardpack. I've heard that it is a relatively easy flexing ski.

Can anyone comment on whether these might be decent skis for tele?

Is the 4800 too noodly? The reason I'm looking at that one right now is because the waist is under 80. I thought it would be a soft, thinner waited ski that would be a good learning ski.

The 8000's would probably be great as a 2nd set for bigger hills and deeper snow I'm thinking.

4800 is soft'ish, and not a bad learner ski... also really fun for spring runs and moguls. 8000 would be better option for after you've learned a bit. Like Booker said, I'm sure you could make the 8000 work from the start as well.

Well, I picked up these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=009

For $99, how could you pass it up?? I know they'll be really soft, but they'll be alright for learning.

I'll get some bigger, badder's after I learn to tele and decide that it's what I want to do.

I was going to suggest these for a skinny MN ripper:

but the Dynastars should work fine.

I think in a perfect world I would've picked up some G3 Tickets, but hey - skis on the cheap? Why not!

Are you going to put AT bindings on yours? I saw your other thread about the Scarpas...

My Scarpa T1's just arrived today. I'll have to get get'em cooked this week. Bindings should be here on Friday - not sure about the skis yet however.

I didn't buy 'em (although I was tempted), I have the Kongurs mounted tele and like them a lot. But the skinnier Dirans might be more appropriate most days at Welch.
