Give me 99,000 and I'll give you something a whole lot better
That thing could reduce my to the slope drive time..
o yes it could
Thats a hell of a vehicle, must have costed him a few grand to just post that thing at 99,000, fuking moron should have started at 1 cent them had a resersve, would have saved him a few thousand.

Best of all, it comes with a Stig Blomqvist steering wheel! Unfortunately that doesnt mean you can drive like Stig.
Roo, I figure you'll chime in here, you ever get to drive one? Or any Group B cars for that matter? An Ur-Quattro would be nice, or a 205, or a S6, or a 959...
A few years back there was a high end dealer in Ft. Lauderdale that had a Group 4/Group B Renault R5 hidden in the back. Very sweet.
Can you please explain how that works.Originally posted by Rascal King

When you post an item and put a starting price ebay takes a small percent of the starting price. Maybe not 1000 bucks but probably 100.
Like if you start the bidding at 100 bucks you get like 2.30 charged to your credit card then another amount for the final bid. Thats why you try to avoid ebay and paypal all together.

But ebay is good for scoring deals and making dope deals.

I was lucky enough to compete at Goodwood with Michelle Mouton in the Audi Quattro Pike's Peak car which was a blast. I've also had a swb Sport Quattro out on loan from the Audi museum. Brutal car and the old-school skinny A-pillars give great visibility. I take my hat off to guys competing in cars like the Peugeot 307CC WRC car. How they can see round left hand corners in that thing is beyond me...
Lucky man roo, lucky man. The Lancia 037 was the RWD for group 4 before they switched to 4wd, right?Originally posted by bad_roo

That's right. Lancia ploughed a big development budget into a lightweight rear wheel drive car just as Audi moved the goalposts with the Quattro. Still an entertaining car and a good deal better looking (as long as you can get a red one without the rear wing). I'd love to try a Stratos but they're rather rare.
