So my roomate got his snowboard stolen out of his car today while he was at work. He was parked in the City Market lot and someone fucking sniped it out of a broken rear window (yeah asking for it, but come on...).

If anyone sees someone riding this board, or finds one floating around on a craiglist or egay please, please BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM. Then PM me and I will come take a crap on what is left of them. There aren't all that many of these boards out there, so if you see a Stepchild, take a closer look. My roomate is sponsored by them, but can't get another before the end of the season, and he's screwed now cause he had some photo shoots lined up. This is a matter of principle... all kleptos should be castrated and hung. Thanks guys.

One way to help stop or at least nab a few lowlife scum like gear thieves is to take a pic of your top sheet and base with your cell phone, digital, whatever. very helpful in recovering stolen skis and boards and very easy to quickly get an accurate description and image of the stolen gear out right away to lift operators, etc. we caught many theives this way, mostly because they were dumb enough to ride on the stolen gear.
you'd be suprised how many people couldn't describe their stuff adequately, or they'd just say "it's the burton supermodel!" many cops don't know what that means. or they give us a catalog photo, sans bindings, and say, "but mine's covered in stickers."
