Just pulled the trigger (har har punny) on a Citiori Feather Lightning in 16GA....so stoked.....should have next week....

Yep. It's this exact scope:
1/2 MOA finger-adjustable turrets under the dust covers. Gotta warn you tho - 2x is very minimal magnification. OTOH - because of the low magnification, the eye relief is pretty damn long.
This is the actual scope (rings, base and gun not included) with the dust covers off the turrets:
Just bought a Savage 12BVSS 22-250 a couple hours ago.
nice! Will be interested to see how you like the savage. I don't really need the scope n will probably come to the same conclusion as you but always wanted one and the price is right...pm me some payment info
Steepconcrete you might as well get a marlin 336...as should we all![]()
The killer awoke before dawn.
He put his boots on.
Sons of Guns
Anybody watch? It's kinda like American Chopper in a gun shop. Without the over-the-top prima donna bullshit and tacky Spiderman/helicopter/chrome add-on stuff.
Shoulder-fired M1919? Sure.
Surpressed Saiga shotgun? Okey dokey.
Remote operated AR firing pod for your Suburban? Why not?

Horrible show.
Hey - let's shoot at a lake!
Hey - let's shoot tracers into a feild of dry dead grass!!
I loved the episode where he hires that guy who actually looks like he knows what he's doing, but first he has to cut his hair. One of your employees looks like Uncle Fester covered head to toe in tattoos, but a guy with a ponytail is too edgy? I mean - yeah, it's his company and he can hire and do what he wants, but really?
Future Weapons was the ultimate gun show. That guy was intense. The only thing that could possibly be more rad is if there were a Future Weapons type show but with Kari Byron of Mythbusters hosting.
Yeah I am surprised that future weapons host did not get another gig.
Sons of guns i terrible. That squirmy guy in the shop is going to end up on the 10 o'clock news one day.
Did somebody leave one lying around downtown?
I just shot my fucking chronograph. Goddammit.

Sweet!! I have a Tactical, but never got a can. Tried several, and never thought they preformed very well.
On another note, have a friend who is the armor for a local PD. They are replacing their HK USP .45 with new ones. Old ones are about 10 years old. Asked me if I wanted one if he could locate a nice one. Said sure. Picked up a 95+% full sized USP and 5 12-round mags for $335. MAJOR SCORE..

Wow, good deal , let me ponder.
no stoke like gunstoke
How expensive/cheap is 7.62 x 39 these days? And any thought on the Mini-30? I know they're not that accurate but is that something that can be remedied pretty inexpensively?
Have a friend trying to sell a Mini-30 that I can probably get pretty cheap(not sure $$ yet) in what appears to be really mint shape. Manufactured in '94 and I have no idea how much it's been shot. Is there any price that would make it worth picking up? Interested in this type of rifle but really have minimal budget for it. Kind of lusting after a SA M1A but not in the budget at all.

From private sellers, I have bought 1000 rounds for around $160. Ammoman sells cases delivered around $220.

Have a Mini 14, reliable, but horrible accuracy.
www.wideners.com usually has good deals on ammo. Just watch out for the berdan corrosive primed stuff.

If you want an accurate gun, it's usually cheaper to buy a gun that is accurate out of the box than it is to try and accurize an innaccurate gun.
For an accurate alternative to the Mini 30, I'd look hard at the Springfield "M" series. I owned an M21 for several years. Extremely accurate gun (but also very expensive.) However, even the standard M1a is very accurate right out of the box.
