Congrats gun boys. Another mass shooting. Do you have a tiny raging boner? Super awesome.

RPD is open bolt, which would make that comic book lighted reticle cringe scope worthless for even the first round, as two pounds of fucking bolt have to close and the belt has to advance after the trigger is pulled before the round can chamber and then fire. That means it rattles around like a goddamned Briggs & Stratton and sprays bullets like a elephant trunk.

Slapping a bling scope and a low-budget brake on it is fucking cosplay.

Unless Scotty went NFA, that's a semi conversion. I thought the conversions had to fire closed bolt. Not arguing it should have a scope. Nor should it have that, that thing, stuck on the front. However, assuming that it is semi and closed bolt, then a scope and a brake are not totally ridiculous, just partially, but mostly because they ruin the whole appeal of that piece, which is its historical significance. And that gets us back to cosplay.

And if you really want that semi version of a SAW experience and you have gobs of money, very this: https://fnamerica.com/products/rifles/fn-m249s/

All the disadvantages of the original, while lacking the one advantage: full automatic for suppressing fire.

I know about OOW because I came across their BAR 1918 semiautomatic offering. The BAR has historical significance. There was no reason for me to buy one, unless I wanted a really heavy .30-06 deer rifle that wouldn't be as accurate as an actual deer rifle.

You don’t have to own something for it to have historical significance. Owning a semi version of those machine guns is stupid, it’s not even the same thing. Remember the semi version of Thompsons they sold back in the day? Dumb

    GUNS!!!!!!!!

Anyone have a M&P shield? I have a RH IWB kydex holster I received from a friend in a bag with a bunch of ammo as he was getting out of shooting. I have no need for it nor do I need to buy a shield (I believe this is what the holster is for based off of google image matching of the holster.

Filed via e-file Form 4 transfers on May 24 for two suppressors and my MP5, figuring on a year wait. Same day, filed two brace guns, May 25 filed 3 more, and May 27, filed two more.

One brace approved in about 55 days.

On day 71, saw three more approvals in the inbox, figuring they were brace gun approvals. Approvals were for the two cans and the MP5. Unheard of these days.

One of the cans was for my S&W 76, makes it kinda front loaded, but shootable without ear protection. MP5 runs great!

But no more brace approvals. :-(

I may have missed this. Does the brace approval allow you to put a real stock on the host gun, as installing the brace has been reclassified as creating an SBR?

    From the ATF website:

Yes, once the firearm is registered as an SBR, you can change out the “brace” device or stock for a different brace or stock. You do not need to contact ATF/NFA because changing the brace/stock does not change the configuration of the SBR. However, if the length of the firearm has changed you will need to notify the NFA Division.

One is more fun than the others. Top two are SBR's registered in the brace amnesty. Interestingly enough, both are imports, but per the rules, were exempted from the 922(r) parts requirement.

With all the large caliber pistols around, it makes my good friend Harry Callahan factually incorrect.

    Just the facts.
