Exactly. People can vote, or not vote. Go to church, or not. And exercise their 2d Amendment rights, or not.

Law enforcement are actually more likely to have their gun used against them in a crime, than private citizens are. This makes sense, given the nature of their interactions with the public, and while the risk can be mitigated somewhat by gun and holster choice, it's still a risk of the job.

One of the continuous lies of gun controllers is trying to lump suicides into gun crime statistics. There's a generational trend of older people having been socialized to put their horse or cow down with a rifle, and if they're suicidal using a gun. Younger people aren't doing this as much. It's a mental health issue, not a 2d Amendment issue.

In terms of personal choice, I personally do think more people should consider thumb safeties and retention holsters. But, that means consider, it doesn't mean they need them.

Death by gun is death by gun 10,000 children have been killed or maimed for sport. Some with a pink gun.

    Missed seeing this. Nice toy.

I've got a bunch of leftover mags if you need any more. 30's and 20's. And a couple of drums although it won't take drums. I've had a 1928AC (see the above pic), M1A1, and 1921/28 Navy overstamp.

I'd rather have the 1928, the m1a1 is listed for sale on a form 4 already.

The stock doesn't slip off, the no drum issue, its way too clean (I think it was in a museum), no lyman sights, no cutts compensator, build finish on the lower is simpler, no forward handle.

The side handle is better in my opinion.

If shooting Old Yeller were to have been something terrible and cruel, then, yes, paradoxical, but by the standards of the time, taking one to the dome was going to be an awful lot nicer than dying of rabies (which would have been Old Yeller's fate otherwise).

Obviously, people in the social circles that post on TGR are going to call the vet. Though, there are still horse rescues among others that get hassled for shooting the horses they need to put down, which they do because it saves them a lot of money relative to using a vet.

One of the current political paradoxes, though, is that assisted suicide is viewed as a progressive idea, as is late-ish term abortion. Some of the gun control proponents on here even got some big laughs out of abortion jokes, including joking about one of America's most prolific serial killers, post-delivery baby killer Kermit Gosnell. But, if someone chooses to use a gun versus using a doctor to commit suicide, THAT is considered evidence that our civil rights should be restricted.

Young people have rising rates of suicide and rising rates of slow suicide through liver-pickling, and declining rates of gun suicide. It ain't the guns.

FWIW I support assisted suicide with appropriate mental health precautions being used. It makes much more sense to provide mental health resources to the vulnerable than to try to limit civil rights, when it comes to the many people who just need to tweak their brain chemistry to feel better.

If you stop at McDonalds on the way to the range are you the guy who feels naked, afraid and alone unless you are armed while ordering a Happy Meal? Or are you a sporting shooter?

Maybe you just flat out lied... Again.

No flying out to meet me at my store... No sending your son to beat me up for a picture I drew... No picture...

    WTF Wooley?

No bobby, I did not say I would send it overnight the the business address you gave me. I like surprises, don't you? Stop smoking the wacky weed for a day or four and get sober. You really should go away from this. Get some help with your issues.

    Lie^

Still waiting on your son to do something tragic. Still waiting on you to show up at my store. Still waiting on the picture "I drew".....

Still waiting for Wooley to be a man of his word.

I doubt that is possible for some sales hack that spent his professional career telling fat women they looked pretty.

It's a good range. Ever shoot trap on Sunday's? Curious how many show up, casual or not, etc.
