Cannon was a corn-fest today. Didn't suck one bit, whatever day people pull the trigger on I'll likely be in as I'm in search of (albeit slowly) for a new job.

But we still will bring the skins your way and do a trek this spring. Even if we don't make Tuck's mini we still want to skin the sherburne trail w/ you some May weekend that is good!

The weather is looking pretty no-go for this weekend. I'd vote for the 26th but I'll be away. There's a lot of snow up there so when the temps get more predictably mild the skiing should be quite good

If the weather's good, I'm in. You going up SAT? I think I'm gonna go on FRI night w/ Devo and sleep out.

What's the concensus on trekkers? will I be happy? will I be sad/frust?

    Dear Mr. the Tash,

Weather depending, I am going up. I need a few more ski days for sure. PM me your digits and I will do the same.

Trekkers? A lot of people use them there. I have never used them. I think you will be fine. That being said, what is your boot sole size as my Monsters are not in spoken for any longer. They are a wee bit lomger, 193, than your brigades.

I vote for postponing, since hiking thru rainy mud into sleet to possibly go for a ride on an avy does not sound fun, so this weekend I'm out. If the weather pans out well contrary to the forecast, oh well. 26th works for me.

its hard to say...all depends on the weather.

the bowl should have snow well into june. hard to say how long the headwall will last.

i skied the lip on memorial day one year...a long time ago...that was fun! this could be one of those years.

It's not looking good, folks. And to quote the eloquent Miss Alioops... "skinning in the rain sucks donkey balls..." Ya know? Not a fan!

But she also said it could still be a fun weekend. Anyone still coming up and going to be around Saturday night??

Not that I have actually sucked donkey balls, but let's just say I don't like skinning in the rain.

Guess I should have posted here instead......

"So, can we get a final tally on this weekend? It's going to be cold and wet, so screw skinning. Either way, I believe VG is planning a get together for a bit of debauchery. Plan on a drunken trek in the drizzle (even if it is in the school yard).

Your decision to come will help me decide on whether to make that daunting drive ALL THE WAY to VG's.

Either way.....there must be more mini plans at Tux in the future."
