are any of you religious or military figures, and willing to provide for me a letter (on the appropriate letterhead) stating that i need to take some state certification examinations on a monday instead of a saturday? allow me to explain... i'm in the process of switching careers- beginning a master's program shortly, with the eventual goal of becoming a teacher of foreign languages.
my best friend is getting married to a fellow student of his in the chapel of their seminary up in michigan on june 12th.
there are some tests through an organization named "ets" which i have got to pass in order to have the preliminary certification required to act as an intern/student teacher... and these tests are only offered on june 12th, unless there is some kind of huge exception along the lines of the above-mentioned. the certification is required of me to act as an intern, which is a vital component of the master's degree.
it stinks that there is no good alternative, and that i'm going to have to miss out on my buddy's wedding to jump through more hoops in ordre to become a teacher. you'd think i was trying to become a goddamn doctor, lawyer or whatever by how many obstacles and such i've already dealt with. sorry about my self-indulgent ranting. i'm super-frustrated and not feeling so good right now.
