Post Stoke of the Week: Dam Glad to be Here

In this weeks episode, pictures of yourself, not neccissarily skiing, on memorable days, at memorable places or maybe on memorable dates that show others or remind yourslelf of how much fun you were having.

This past February, Snowbird, finding great snow 5 days after a storm between Tiger Tail and Thunder Bowl, lap after lap after lap...

During finals week I went hiking with one of my friends from school. The ski season had been over for a few weeks and it was a beautiful sunny day, one of those days where you thinking, "ok summer won't be that bad." We hiked up Mansfield and it was awesome. still tons of snow up there. Just great day all around, confirmed why I went to UVM.

Wolfie, about 12" of fresh and it had been snowing for the past three days. Waterfall area with my friend Marc.

From my perspective, choosing to ditch testing skis at Buttermilk, and instead skiing 10" of fresh at Snowmass, B, Jeff, and my Bro decide we did the right thing.

You know, H-man, for someone who's concerned about the big "4-0" and is leery of growing old, you seem to have an aweful lot zest left in you - even for a 37 year old.

Here's an old pic of me at the Kelso Sand Dunes in the Mojave Desert:

    Giddyup Uber.

That's why I'm leaning towards being mad at Mrs. H-man for her deeply hurtfull coments

I sure don't feel 37, or 40 for that matter.

And, on commenting on your post in my old man thread...

My 3rd time on top of Half-dome
I was just there last week. Didn't climb Half Dome though. Just a bunch of base routes and Braille Book.

Climbed the regular NW Face of Half Dome 10 years ago, excellent route.

Might live there next summer. Lined up a job there this last week.

Upper Exum. 1st time. The crowds were discouraging, but we summited anyway. Went back later that year and me and my 3 buddies were the only people we saw on the whole route. Spent an hour of solitude on the summit, a rarety.

Went back last year and did the Petzolt, a classic for sure. That route was the real deal, classic Teton climbing.
