Binder brakes on Explosives - bend them or get wide ones?

I am mounting some Looks on Exploders. Should I bend the normal brakes (I think it will work) or get the wide brakes (which I will have to order)?

    What's the waist on those?

If it's 85 - 95 I would say go with bending (I have Looks on my Chubbs, 87 in the waist, and bent the brakes on those) if it's 100 or more def get wide brakes.

See my reply to bossass's Look High Din Binder thread. Basically, you can bend em, but they won't do much if you lose one on hard snow. You planning on losing a ski on hard snow?
