    Summit area BC partners?

I'm looking for some people to get into the BC with. I've got all the gear, and I've got an Avy 1 class under my belt, now I just need somebody who know what they are doing and has the gear to do it safely to get some BC/ Side country with. I'm new to Colorado (came from NC in June), but I'm a solid rider. I can ride the Alleys at the Basin with no troubles, but so far I've only gotten out once with some body who didn't impress me with their decision making skills.

I'm willing to hike. I'm not an idiot, so lets go ride some good safe stuff.

    Hey,
I too am looking for someone (or a group) to do some backcountry hiking/skiing with in the Summit County or front range area.
Info on me: Ski & snowboard instructor at Copper Mtn, Level I Avalanche certification, two hut trips so far this season. Looking to do day trips or overnights, just don’t want to do it alone. Unemployed as of end of ski season, so available anytime. For backcountry I'll be skiing, vs. riding.
Do you have a split board? Snowshoes? How do you get around in the backcountry?
PS. Definately not an idiot, either, and want do do it safe.

    Day trips

I would enjoy touring with you guys.
Does anyone know of a place I can rent through next season?
    I search the Daily daily.
I have friends in Edwards but I don't want to wear out my welcome.

Drop me a PM if anyone has such a hideout.

    BC

    Hey Guys,
I'm a boarder, but I can't afford a split board yet. Probably just be snowshoeing it up. Have you guys heard anything about Mayflower Gulch? I guess its right by copper. I'm out a job too as the season is over, so until I find a new one I'm up to ride any time. I usually ride Keystone or the Basin, so lets meet up in bounds some time. drop me a PM and I'll get you my cell number.

Mayflower Gulch is sick. Great access to Pacific Peak, Crystal Peak, and Fletcher Mtn. (check out this pic of Fletcher's North Face I took last year)
