hmmm. i seem to remember putting a guy who looks just like you up for a night in northern VT last winter. that guy told me he'd get me back with some baseball related perks come ball season, seeing as he has a job with MLB. well i guess you and him are not the same guy, wht a coincidence though

fenwaz rules though, howd you like the view from those new seats in right field?

Dude! You stayed at GMD this winter and I didn't even know you were a minion. Small world.

Nice pics, Fenway looks to be in pretty good shape considering its' age.

He probably just thought you wanted to see the Red Sox play, so he didn't see any reason to find playoff tickets.

the red sox have been in the playoffs for like the past 5 years.

Hey! I'm not a bandwagon hater!

I'm an equal opportunity hater. I've hated the Mets ever since they beat the Astros in the 1986 NLCS in 16 innings. And since the Yankees are also from NY, I hate them too. And really Boston and New York are pretty much the same city, since there's no real break in the suburbs connecting them, so I hate the Red Sox too. Actually, I've never really liked the American League as whole. The DH rule bugs me, and they always seemed a little bit stuck up compared to the National League.

Nice pics. That's a great look at the new rightfield grandstand/roof/whatever seating.

I'm down for a Fenway mini anytime, but getting a block of seats might be trouble (given that they sold 2 million tickets before pitchers and catchers reported, and are almost sold out for the season already). Still, hope to catch some games with some of you mangs (except you, base) when I get home.

    Hommmmeeee swweeeetttt hommmmmmmmeeeeeeeee...

Did I go on some ridiculous drinking binge and hallucinate the 3 seasons between 99 and 02 when the Red Sox missed the playoffs? Damn that must have been some party...

Wonder if we got a few people together (ok, like 20 people) whether the group ticket office could help us out? Otherwise, the "buy standing room tix on game day" route may work if peeps were down.

Maybe we could petition dunkin donuts saying we are a group of at risk/dying/poverty-striken children and sit in their ''we feel bad for these kids so we got them bleacher seats'' section. We could pretend we were blind, that might work.

Hah! May as well be blind - you can't see much of the game from the Dunkin Dugout. Itss in the absolute last row of the right field bleachers.

Also, whose genius idea was it to put a bunch of charity kids in the bleachers? "Daddy, what does Dlowe sucks balls mean? Whats a douchebag? Do they really know that player's mommy?" Terrible.

lets get a headcount for a fenway mini and ill start to see what i can pull together. we'll probably have to pay face value for the seats, but i might be able to get a big block. Easiest for me are weekend games as im coming up from nyc.. but i might be able to pull off a friday as well.
