awesome, I'd definately be down for a red sox mini. I've already got a ticket for the June 29th game in NYC if anyone else is making that trip.

I'm heading down to boston this weekend and wandering around fenway area trying to find a cheap ticket(haha) if anyone wants to get some beers. Then on stumps suggestion, definately going to hit Tequilla Ran.

edit2: and ice, we should rally the dc mags and hit a game at camden, then maybe a trip to the babe ruth museum. Havent been to both places in a while.

Pretty much any time at Camden Yards is cool, I'll help figure it out, just let me know what y'all want to do. That last series in Oct. has become a problem (not for me, for you guys) since a friend just bought tickets for his family and mine. Bastard.

Flights to the Bean are cheap enough that I can pretty much do that whenever, with some notice.

Some questions: Are those rings supposed to mean something this year? Do they confer a magical ability to be "clutch", or improve Jeter's chances of showing even league average range in the field?

Are they like the rings of power - if so, which rings are these? The rings given to men or dwarves or elves? Who has the one ring? Does the Boss feel as if the NL has taken his precious? Is Red Sox Nation tricksy and false?

One thing is certain: much like the ring of power, Jeter's rings are making him invisible on the field this season.

Maybe all the bling is weighing down his average?

Or maybe these are just words of an insecure yankee fan who realizes the Sox are 10 games above .500, 1.5 games ahead of the Bombers, and still haven't played a game with Nomar or Trot in their usual spots in the lineup?

i mean its fine to hate the sox, and root against us as we surley do to your bombers, but why do you guys never ask how or why players are preforming below leauge averages? or do you not care in the slightest about the daily preformance of your ball club, and just trust that somehow ol' joe and george will get you another birth righted ring?

i get your point. numbers play a roll in virtually every basball decision that is made by any club to get them to the last out of the last inning of the last game of the world series. then its up to god.
