    That's irrelevant.

    That debate ended up with legislation limiting/banning flouro-carbons, which has had a tremendous net benefit to airborne particulate and ozone depletion. There has been absolutely no downside to the positives borne by that debate.

    Uhhh...the scientific reports that al reviewed (re: Global Warming) in Congress were prepared in the early eighties. By scientists n' shit.

    And obviously the Ozone layer depletion was/is a critical component of any climate model.
