    Fishin' Music?

What kind of music do you listen to on the drive out to the river?

    Just curious.

I'm kind of a hick, I guess. I listen to country most of the time (kinda fits with driving across Wyoming). Usually Chris LeDoux, Trace Adkins, George Strait, that type of stuff.

In fact, I'm listening to "Chrome" by Trace Adkins right now.

depends. one thing i have learned is that with sattelite radio you can float down the river and listen to football games.

and since the guy i fish with (and who owns the drift boat and sattelite radio) is a Texas grad, it;s often a Longhorns game.

Nothing. The "roads" leading to most of the streams I fish make my CD player skip.

Panic shows in the heat of the summer for me. Spring and fall.....Dylan, Greg Brown or something of the sort.

On the way to the river, it varies as much as any day. But actual fishing is the one thing I participate in that I have no desire to listen to music while doing. The sound of the river is all I need.

All depends on what the venue is...

Pulling pots in AK or WA, then its Tool, Seether, Godsmack, or old school Ted Nugent, Stones, Hendrix with wheel watch music something really mellow like James Taylor, some Wyndam Hill instrumental just to wind down.

Bristol Bay is usually sheeyat kicking country going or simply NPR...don't know why but thats where I get my country and puclic radio fix for the year.

Down home (Utah) on the road to whereever its usually whatever talk radio I can get in the car...damn I need satellite radio.

And while fishing, lake or river, there's nothing going. Unless I'm on the Lower Columbia on a Sunday morning and they have the Finnish Hour chugging along out of Astoria.
