    JONG TR: Jackson Hole

So a couple weeks ago me and two of my best buds (non-mag couple nate and newsha) took a trip to Jackson. i've wanted to go there pretty much my whole life, and it finally came up as a spur-of-the-moment trip, so we hopped in the truck and drove our asses to jackson. coming from denver, I-80 was totally closed, so we retracked to casper and headed west from there. it only added about 4 hours to the trip. got there around 3am, right before they closed all roads into town. 16" the first day, 7" the second, and blue skies the third made it worth the while.

i apologize for the un-gnarliness of this TR, and the fact that there weren't more pictures (we kept forgetting we had cameras what with the snow affecting our ability to breath and all). this is the first TR i've posted, so at least i have a very low bar to notch up for the next one.

    obligatory JHMR shot

    tetonz and graybirdz

thought this was a cool random shot

new and strode being safe on the lift

first day we were up there, they closed the road back into town, so we were stuck at nick wilson's for cheapened pitchers and shots.

since we were uber-lame tourons, we were couldn't hang with all the locals in the previous picture, but we found a couple cool younguns to kick it with until the road opened back up.

"i don't really care that you haven't got the camera ready yet"
(tail end of nate landing a little 15er)

    newsha buried in the foliage

    I GO HUJ

    happy fuckin campers

at the end of it all, i seriously considered calling my work and telling them to find a new nighttime supervisor, because jackson kicked ass. for some reason, half the pictures got erased off nate's camera, and my dumb ass forgot the SD card the second day, otherwise i'd have more crappy pictures. you people who ski here are seriously spoiled rotten

Seconded for the best week ever. That Monday the lifts blew down early, we were all at Nicks drinking by 10.

Drunk enough by 12-ish to throw our skis on our back and 'hike' up Teewinot to the bottom of AV where we waited til 1-something when it reopened... that one run down Toga was the biggest, deepest shit show of ever....

    I'm not ready for spring!!
