    Toe bruising.

My shell fit is the width of my index finger on my bigger foot, and a finger and 1/2 on my smaller foot (industry standard). I have skinny fingers. There seems to be quite a bit of toe room in the liner, but I guess that always happens. I keep them pretty tight.
I get slight bruising, sometimes, on my big toenail.
Do I just need to stop doing gaper stuff like little airs of cat-tracks and the occasional leaning back? Can a lot of ungroomed/moguls cause this?
    No longer stuck.

I had the same problem last year with a similar shell fit. My toes were constantly touching my liners, even when flexing the boot.

    Do you have intuition liners?

my toes don't touch anymore when flexed and they are stock sally liners.

An injected foam liner is $$, but quite a bit stiffer... sounds like you're moving around too much in your shells...

I seem to lose one of my big toenails every other season. My boots fit well and I have custom insoles, so I don't know how it happens. I'm guessing I just do something once in a while that causes my toe to crash into the front of my boot. But it doesn't really bother me. My toe hurts a little, the nail turns purple, and then it's gone.

most likely you occasionally are driving in the back seat. unless you are an impeccably flawless technical aspect side of things kind of skier, it isn't uncommon to wind up in the back seat occasionally causing your feet to slide forward causing toe bang.

Push you shins into the front of your boots. Your boots are getting packed out.

I think that alot of my toe bang comes from my toe hitting the top of the boot when I am skiing park and ollying alot

I was surprised to realize last weekend that I hurt my toenail the most when I'm skating on flats.
that's all i can think of, but i'm sure there's something else...

No joke? that is a fucking revelation! lots of skating going on at Moonlight.
It's not that much of a concern since it's very minor bruising, i just know it shouldn't be happening. But that's interesting. Moonlight has some flats, and even an uphill of the lone tree lift. Re-grade that shit!
o, plus walking in ski boots doesn't help the toes either. like walking up to the headwaters lift.

Wouldn't it be nice to just not have toenails?

I had the same problem with my salomon Guns. There eas a waterproof rubber toe cap at the end of the liner instead of neoprene (like with my Lange). The rubber cap hardens in the cold and kills toes dead.
