    186 LP vs 190 Got

I ski 186 LP and want a solid comparrison to the 190 Gotama. I have searched, but the 190 got doesn't seem reviewed. I know this is probably overlap, I am just in search of something traditional that is wider and softer for deep days. Main question...does the 190 got float much better than a 186 LP. Love LP's so much, just want a slightly bigger boat and don't get enough snow in Vail/BC to justify a reverse camber. Thoughts???

Bullshit... go reverse, you get enough snow. Sorry, I have no input on the original question.

I didn't like the xxl. Granted it was on a a hard pack day. I realize we have had an epic snow year here in Vail, and a reverse could have been useful many days this year. I am skeptical on an avg year a reverse might not get used much. However, I have never skied one so I can't even chime in on how a reverse would perform on hard snow.

IMO you should go XXL. It comes in a 187 and is a better pow ski than the Got. you skied it on hardpack....but your looking for a pow ski. so disregard that impression. if you are a strong skier and dont want to go reverse, XXL is the shizzle, although as difficult as it is to enjoy the XXL on hardpack ( you need room to let em rip or an inch or two to dig in the edges ) you may as well go reverse......

I agree with the above posts and think you should be looking at the XXL not the LP.

I've skied both and personally like the goat more than the XXL. That is just me though as most like the XXL a lot more.

I do tend to ski from the "center" of the ski and am not one to overly drive my tips so this might have something to do with it.

Both are good skis I just like a more playful ski. The XXL is more "business" than the goat is.

Maybe the BroRocker. Getting sick reviews and sounds like a fun ski. Or maybe the BigBro. Skied it a few weeks ago and WOW what a fucking ski. It will be in my quiver next season, unless I get the BroRocker, fucking decisions.

Agree with all of the above but the 190 Goat is an awesome everyday ski. Not the best powder ski (I'd be in the reverse/rocker camp there), not the best hardpack ski but really works well across a whole range of conditions.

you should get something with a rockered tip/tail. like obsethed, ehp, any of the new rockered skis coming out soon.
