    Thoughts on wavesport ZG 54

I am looking at one of these for a playboat/ down river kinda deal. I'm right there for weight, but I am kind of concerned about my long ass chicken legs actually being able to fit. Has anybody played around with these at all?

How long are your long ass chicken legs? My legs are fairly long, chicken-esque, and they fit it the 54. Sweet boat...does anything you really want it to...not that I'm the best tester for that kind of thing.

I have about a thirty four or six inch inseam. Depends on the pants I wear. I would mostly be using this guy for down river to get to the wave, and just front surf kinda thing. I'm not really good enough to be throwing air, anything like that. I am happy sitting on a wave, and maybe trying a spin.

Hmmm...I'm a 32. I have long legs for my size, I guess. I'm thinking that the 54 does have good foot room, at least my feet felt comfy in there. It could come down to a foot size issue. However, the 54 might not perform all that great if you have to kick the seat back the whole way. Have a chance to sit in one at a local shop? Stupid question, I know...since you're asking about it on here. What was the last playboat that you felt comfy in?

I really, really, really, like the CR125. I modified the one I used a little bit, by adding a bit of foam in strategic places, to get a more comfy fit. I really like that boat, but I can't seem to find a used one for cheaper than a little bit below retail. And I'm kinda a cheap bastard right now. And no, I haven't had a chance to sit in one yet. I believe this particular one is in Boulder, or somewhere right around there, so I am trying to avoid driving all the way down there just to find out it doesn't even come close to fitting.

Very similar boats, for sure. The only thing I noticed about the CR 125 is that the deck height seems to be a little greater than the ZG 54. Not much, but a little. I'm thinking that if you felt the least bit smashed in the 125, then the 54 is definitely out. It sounds, though, like you dig the fit of the 125. If there is enough room in the 125 to keep your knees down a little lower than the factory thigh hooks, then the 54 should fit okay. I think it is only like a few centimeters shorter than the 125, so the deck height could be key. Tough call.

I've got a 34" inseam with size 12 feet and don't fit in the 54. I owned a 125 last year and it fit me perfect, so I'm gonna say the ZG is probably out as well. I fit really well in the Project 62 (but it's a big boat), can SQUEEZE in to the Ronin 59, fit well in the AllStar but opted to buy the SuperStar because of my weight. A LL Vision 56 bigfoot would work well for you too.

I've got last years demo Dagger Agent 6.4 at the shop that we're selling for $650 free shipping which would be a good fit for you if you like the Dagger/WS outfitting

Do you happen to know of anywhere in Bozo that may have one, friends, or something like that, that I could sit in before I drive all the way to Denver, just to find out if I fit in the danged thing?

Been there, done that, took pictures. I wasn't such a fan. If anything I'd go for the newer model 4 fun.

I got a ZG 54 , small feet short legs , so not much help there .But Foot size WILL be a factor ,you can adjust the thigh braces to splay your legs out more so your knees hit the side walls of the boat but it soundds like it could be close
