    Wasatch Back: 2/23/08 Photo TR.

While we may not get as much snow as our bretheren to the west (BCC, LCC), the wasatch back is sure purdy, and provides exciting times.

Most of my lines today, were carved right here:

    It was a beautiful morning

Spent the day skiing on the new line motherships at a line demo. It was a pretty good morning for sure, not too much new snow, still hitting the crust underneath the pow, but I can't complain.

The new mo'ships are rippers, fun skis. Felt just like an axiom with a bit more sidecut. Stiff and bomber construction. I was on the 186, they didn't have the big length.

The rock wall is on the south face of Squaretop. You can see the lines on it's East face, as well.

I'm not really sure if this qualifes as park city back. That I believe is the hyper flat area between strawberry reservoir and diamond fork. Besides it never snows at the can anyway.

Those are sweet pictures. The snow conditions actually made me tear up a bit. Fucking Midwest.

I havn't been to the Canyons this year, but last year for sqtop u had to hike up from the top of 99/90 to the metal gate with the warning on it. Then traverse/decend (north) to the saddle and hike sq top.

this is exactly how you get there. hanging snowfield was decent but got really sloppy in the afternoon as well as most stuff in the sun. Cinder Chutes was mashed potatoes halfway down. North facing stuff was money all day.
