    Wow.

Even the subsonic tent as a great line-up with The Streets, Dizzee Rascal and The Rapture.

Mr. Von Bondy got his ass kicked by Jack White. Friends saw it go down, they reported that it was gnarly. I have additional factoids if you're interested...

Not interested in the BFD... SP and I had fun a couple of years ago--if smoking herb with girls who are way too young and rocking out to the Christian rock stylings of POD is fun--but this year I can't do it. I can't hang for a day of $7 beers at the Shoreline, which, IMO, is the worst venue in rock-n-roll. Somehow listening to bands in the parking lot of an office park doesn't want me to get pissed and destroy, kick back and relax, or even take drugs and worship satan.

Yeah, heard about the scrap aparently, Jack White isn't just angry in his lyrics, sounds like he kicked the shit out of him pretty well.

Yuor last paragraph begs to be a quote, definitely worthy.

Oh, yeah, because I'm the kind of person that would be totally offended by it. I thought it was a funny typo. Ooops, obviously my bad.

I named They Wrangler Brutes the best band I've never heard. The only release tapes... WHO THE HAS A TAPE PLAYER? I can play 5" records and 78s, but I'll but not TAPES!

Sam Mcpheeters = Wrangler Brutes. Sam Mcpheeters = singer of the legendary punk Born Against.

My buddy Techture played an interesting laptop, turntable, keyboard, and didgeridoo set at 111 Minna last night. More experimetal breaks and drum and bass than anything else.

would KILL to see the Beasties. but I think I've already overspent my concert budget this summer with 2 Prince shows, an Emmylou Harris show, and a Jack Johnson show (yeah, go ahead flame my taste if you must, I can handle it ).

Greyden - I had some damn fun times at shoreline way back when. I actually kind of dig it there. I know most people hate it, but I had a great time every show. Did mushrooms for the first time there about a thousand years ago and laughed for 2 hours straight. Probably peed my pants I was laughing so hard. Damn, I love shoreline.

Normally I'm not a big fan of Shoreline. Nor am I a fan of Jimmy Buffet. But that is the only good show I've seen there. Sure, it may have had something to do with the 40 of malt and the bottle of Cisco consumed in the parking lot. Not to mention margaritas at the show. Damn, can I even remember the show?
