Jesse isn't just partying, he is intentionally surrounding himself with the dregs of the drug scene in an attempt to make himself feel better about being a murderer. He clearly doesn't know how to cope with the realization that he killed someone.

He isn't even partying. He's sitting there sober smoking a cigarette, throwing money away, because he hates what it's done to him.
I feel for Jesse. He's been a pawn of Walt's since the beginning, and Walt has done nothing but ruin his life.
I liked how Skyler asked Walt "We're not those kind of people, are we?" Little does she know. Walt is an immoral fuck.
Slow episode, but it's definitely setting the stage for some heavy shit to go down.
Plus the song playing during the weeks long party montage was "If I Had A Heart" by Fever Ray.
Nobody's making Jesse do anything.
Disclaimer: I haven't read this whole thread (especially since I don't want to have spoil the plot at all, if I do decide to watch it).
I'm not normally a TV person, but after glancing at a NYT Magazine article, a Rolling Stone piece, and a Chuck Klosterman article all about the amazingness of Breaking Bad (http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/.../bad-decisions), I may just start watching this show. It sounds pretty damn good.
ok.........thanks?
Crazy cliffhanger this week.
Hmmm, is Jesse going to have to take Mike out?
It think Mike is not taking Jesse out to the desert to kill him but it's something to do with the opening scene where Mike was machine gunned in the truck.
BTW I hate Skyler! She just grates on me and she's getting fatter!

^^^^^
Her face looks very Botox-y.
I wouldn't complain if Skyler died somehow. And she is turning in to a porky.
I don't know what to think about the jesse / mike thing.
Love that this thread is 3 years old and still going strong...
Best.. Show.. Ever..
Just caught up with the last two weeks. Truck scene was awesome, but who were the shooters? Seems odd that the mexicans Gus went to war with would use a couple of white dudes for that job.
I think it was the second to last episode of season 3 (Half Measures) or maybe the last episode of the season (Full Measures) - Mike pays a visit to Hank at home and tells him about how he once let a wife beater go free....I wont spoil it for you, these last 2 eps of the season together are my favourite ones of BB so far - definitely worth rewatching both of them back to back
im guessing mike shows jesse how to kill people and not care about it - jesse problem solved, walt still cooking meth for gus.
"AMC announced today that Breaking Bad, the Emmy Award-winning and critically lauded drama series from acclaimed writer-producer-director Vince Gilligan has been renewed for a 16 episode order that will conclude the series. Production on all episodes of the final order will commence in early 2012. The roll-out of the episodes and premiere date schedule has yet to be determined by the network. The announcement was made by Charlie Collier, president of AMC."
Sweet that ought to draw out the nothing fucking happening for a few more weeks.![]()
Walt is an egotistical douche and will be replaced by Jesse as the chef.
as much as nothing seems to be happening except buildup i am enjoying the show just as much for the aesthetics. the camera work is incredible. i wish all shows (and movies) could be as interesting.
Alright, now we're making some progress... took Hank long enough.
awesome episode.
Yeah, awesome. The whole series is extraordinarily well written. Walt is self destructing because his brainchild was stolen from him by his friend, who used it to become fabulously wealthy, while brilliant Walt was relegated to obscurity. So all of his bad behavior is driven by him wanting to get the fortune he lost, and wanting no one else to get the credit for the fruit of his genius.
