    Tele turning Dukes....

So I got my Bro 188 stiffs mounted up with some Dukes.
I did a few high speed runs down sunshine bowl and Diamond Lane and I am TOTALLY sold n the bro's with dukes.

Later in the day, I was on a green circle helping a friend learn to snowboard and decided to put the dukes into touring mode and see how they are to tele turn.

    It works.
It's not the best setup, and EXTREMELY neutral.
    But it works.

Probably not took good for the duke pivots, but if these things are as burly as everyone says I don't think it's a problem...

I was just screwing around to see if it could be done.
These things are WAY too heavy to teleturn normally.

I have some Bro 179's with Hammerheads for the pow days anyhow.

Thats a cool parlor trick, but I would be way worried about applying that much force torsionally to the binding. Even if you are only on greens. Seems like the consensus is that the duke is NOT as burly as everyone had anticipated. These things are still made out of plastic. That being said, I am way stoked on my pair. No problems yet.

    don't tele on touring bindings
the only one it slightly works on is the dynafit although i hate to agree with that german guy
a friend of mine broke a pair of freerides trying to tele on them
    it kills the pivot
