Can't say that after years of watching various "couging it" scenarios I'm expecting anything different.

But, enjoying the ride so far. Only 3 other teams have better records in the last three years than the Cougs...Miami, Ohio State, and Texas. Put that in yer pipe and smokitt.

If Cal can beat USC, so can the Cougs. Feels like another Rose Bowl season! Go Cougs! (Meanwhile the Dawgs continue to suck.)

I'm not surprised that the Coug's are having such a great season after seeing the Wash. St. -Notre Dame game. The Cougs were clearly the better team, but their offense crapped out late in the game, leavingf the D out on an island. I was very impressed with the D during the first 3 quarters, they were simply on the field for too long.

As much as Kal played a great game two weeks ago, SC played terribly. We were also badly out-coached during the first half of that game. Although the coaches made some good adjustments for the second half to get us into OT, the players couldn't come through (goal-line fumble, missed FG).

Wash. St. will be a challenge. SC has been vulnerable to the short passes all season and Wash, St. has the type of O that will exploit this. I think most the interesting match up will be the Coug's inproving D against SC's improving O.

    Viva-
Might be worth a roadtrip if both keep on winning for a couple more weeks...

I thought I was tapped on the football travel fund after doing Notre Dame and the Rose Bowl this year, but this one could shape up to be a Visa worthy expenditure. Problem is, I jinx them every time I show up to a road game...kinda like X does when he predicts weather around here

At least one of our teams is doing well.

We wont even name my team, even though they won this weekend, it was against Rutgers.

    Go Cougs!!!

Funny, SC lost the last couple of road games that I went to (Wazzu and Seattle), but has won EVERY home game that I attended going back to Notre Dame in 76.

Wash. St. has quickly become my second favorite team in the Pac 10. I love their style of play and I love traveling out to the Palouse (sp?). Most of their fans are pretty cool, too. I also like Oregon St. and have traditionally liked Washington. I hate Univ. of Zero
