I was in San Diego for business in January 07. It got down to 45-50 degrees overnight. I didn't even bother with a jacket, but saw a guy walking into the office with a huge parka and gloves on. I guess it's all a matter of what you're used to. Those mudslides sure suck, though.

I imagine that a number of people (a higher-than-average percent of whom probably work in the White House) are pointing to this winter as evidence that global warming isn't as imminent as has been suggested. I think just the opposite.
