I'm heading out to Whistler Feb. 19-26. Any locals have an accurate forecast becuase all the ones I've seen are different? Also where are the best places for powder stashes.

I pray to the great god LeeLau in that he provides me with ample weather forecasting and powder stash information prior to *my* visit to Whistler (the first week of March).

looks to be good. are you bringing a computer? i will have one and can check pm's and the board for comms. we are all nearing 30 and will be searching for good terrain and booze. I will be on hellbents/dukes or pistols/FR and a big FKNA sticker on my helmet. bright red pants

long range forecasts here are shit.......I've seen 50cm's storms 4-5 days out disappoint with less than 10 actual......

yea all the forecasts I see are different. Ones calling for 20+cm wednes and thurs and the others say a dusting. Who knows?

just got back. snow conditions are not bad at all. Seventh heaven in blackcomb and sun bowl in whistler are the worst as they are south facing. harmony bowl, whistler bowl, jersey cream are in pretty good shape.

We could really do with more snow. Looks like another week to wait out before that happens though. Still - it's nice weather for touring (and I'm not a local so finding all the places is fun)

This week is looking a little dry. We have a lot of snow, so everything is well covered! The snow conditions are a little hard in the morning and spring like in the afternoons. The backcountry is good to go, with still some good stashes of fresh snow to be had. Just make sure you hit the Northern faces, where the sun has not affected the snow.

did anyone else see the French Ski coaches strutting around in the village? Long black coats with FLOWING gray hair? fucking classic. almost got fiance to run up and fondle for 20 bucks.
