In order to try and see if I could afford the Legend Pros, please tell me how much you think the individual skis/bindings are worth:
-176 Scratch BCs (black and orange, matte tophseet), mounted twice, once for scratch 100 demo binders (see below), once for 332 P14 maxplates (is the maxplate a different set of holes?). ~40 days on them, chips in orange topsheet around the edges but generally good condition. Edges intact. 1 minor core shot, repaired.
-170 Bandit XXs. ~60 days on them. they are this vintage (can't remember year) Mounted with Rossi FTX100 binders for a 332 boot sole.
-Rossi Scratch 100 demo binders. ~30-40 days on them, good mechanical condition. Seperate heel/toeplates.
Thanks.... /hoping desperately that these will be enough for LPs.
Starting from the beginning. My friend got a bro discount on a pair of LP's a month ago for $530.00. If that can be duplicated or close you need to get $215.00 for each set up. Put the demo rossi binders back on the scratches and head to ebay around september - should be fairly close.
None of those skis or bindings are especially in demand or are known for their durability (Bandits are known for exploding, black and orange Scractches are known for delaming). I doubt you could even sell the XX's on this board for that matter. I would say that you will be very lucky to get ~$300 for everything. I would guess well under $100 for the XX's, a little over $100 for the scratches and around $50 for the binders. Good luck though, i hope you can snag those legends you want.
I'm not planning on selling on this board. I was looking at eBay because, if I'm going to get the LPs, I can't offer a maggot-worthy price on any of this gear. I'll definitely post links and all. Some free gear will probably appear after I get the LPs (if) to compensate.
If your going to use ebay I would suggest holding those until november. I just picked up a pair of practically new 03-04 volkl Vs with salomon demo 912s for just over $200. The ebay ski buying market is definetly short on buyers right now and over the summer in general.
