Big crew at the bar friday night, nice to meet the socal and mammy crew for the first time. Sat morning, woke up early to turn and burn down groomers while the mountain warmed up. 10am meet time and about 30 maggots met up at mid lodge. Before long, the corn was ready to be consumed by the hungry masses. We found a set of chutes (classified if I remember correctly) where I took the big beater of the summit. The chute had a little bump that was a small required air right in the middle. I didn't hit it with enough speed to clear the second bump, hit with all my weight forward (Nater has an awesome picture of this) and had a split second decision to make: 1. Attempt to recover and carve out possibly hitting people/trees at very high speed or 2. Throw it and hope for the best. I threw it. I'll let the pictures say the rest.

Sat apres ski: hot springs for some, jacuzzis for others, met up for dinner and out to the bars. Yogachick proved that she lives up to her avitar

Spats nearly gets forcable removed because of his pole dancing, and later exposes himself.

Sunday: Slow morning, less people meet up, but a larger contingent running together. We head back to the classified chutes, where I take my revenge on the skiers left side. We line up to start dropping in, nobody touches the skiers left side. I'm last, all eyes on me, I get my revenge. Hit the air, stomp it, big carve through buttery corn upon exit, screaming out of sheer excitement as I realize I killed it. There's nothing like stomping a line that beat you before. Later in the day, Hardrider won the sick bird award for his rapid exit from Filepes (sp?). Before anyone could pull a camera out, he skis down the chute, jumps the rock band and straight lines the run out, suncups bumps and all. He flys past us going stupidly fast and we watch as his skis flap around like noodles. We all flinched as he nearly looses it twice during the run out, but somehow he held it. I heart Hardrider.

Awesome two days of skiing, now I want the pictures to show for it!
