I'd have to agree with Dan. Thanks Buzz, good fun. The wife enjoyed the non-sausage-festiveness of the party. The kids thought the llamas were pretty cool.

    Thanks again,

Yes, yes. As always, a good time.

Thanks to Mr and Mrs Buzz for having us up and for not kicking my ass for running around on your Llama barn roof.

Thanks to Lumpy for the Salmon (I dug into some after you left - excellent.

Thanks to Ski Monkey and Altachick for making the drive. Nice to meet you both - you should come back to Logan on the 25th for the Halloween festivities.

Thanks to Mr and Mrs BobMC for keeping me grinnin'.

I think the llama shed would be a good venue for some Big TIme Backyard Wrasslin moves. Picture d-day throwing down a fifteen foot atomic bomb double knee drop onto Bob Mc who has been duct taped to a folding table by d-days evil tag team partner redbullit...

EDIT: Skunked on lotto. Venture to La Tienda is definately going to be in the works! Best micro selection within 100 miles.

Watching the Springersque clientel was an event in itself. Can anyone say "I'll have me an order of them thar fried gizzards. Kin ya toss in a few corn dogs for the old lady...maybee I'll have me a whiskey or two n' git in her britches if I brung her a corndog."

[thread hijack] Buzz, do you have llamas? I spent a summer and fall guiding backcountry treks and hunts with llamas, so if you ever need any help (trimming, shearing, shots etc.) i'd be more than happy to help out if i could. [thread hijack]

Thanks so much for manking the drive

I am certainly glad you all made it up (and home safely). We had an awesome time, all except the clean up in the monring. Can you say 99 bottles of beer on the wall, a few times. I got a truck full of recycling.

Thanks to D-day and Nic for taking the time to come up and even stay with us on our "middle of nowhere house". A blast as always.

Lumpy, the grub was great as always. You got a looker there and she drives a cool vehicle too. Unless she goes psycho, keep her around.

Bob, thanks for making it up too, always a fun time. I heard Brett as he was leaving saying "This is the coolest house to come to, I can play anywhere I want" or something to that effect. He had a blast. Obviously I did too. Nice to see the wife and kids again.

2P, nothing is damaged and that is all I ask. E is still wondering what possessed us to get on that Llama barn. I told her it was alcohol, plain and simple. And I think my balance was a bit off at that point, since I could not get up there for the life of me.

Redbullit, thanks for coming up too. It was nice to meet your lovely family and have a great time. Hope someone hit with all the lottery tickets you got. Did ya take some Idaho beer home too?? Stoli is such a nice dog, too bad mine were so crazy that day. And Zane has nice manners, good job Dad.

Altachic and SkiMonkey, totally glad you guys showed up. I know it is a long drive but it was so nice to see you guys. Sorry if people were a bit drunk, but that tends to happen at the Buzz's parties.

We all forgot to play Frisbee golf. But the fire pit worked well.

Ya'll should have stayed, we were only out by the fire till 3 am, and we still had beer flowing.

Breakfast never tasted so good, that is all I got left to say.

    Thanks again all!!

Should be down for TGR at Harry'o Nov 7 and don't forget 2P's Halloween Costume party with DJ's from Park City on October 25. Door prizes for best costumes and the like. It will be rockin, you can count on that. And 2P lives about a half hour closer to SLC than I do, so the drive won't be as long. Come one, come all.

I appreciate the help, but they are actually the landlords. We take care of them mostly and feed them, but when the landlords are actually in town, they do all they stuff. I would like to go packing with them though, so they can carry all my stuff. That is what the landlords have them for. Plus when kids come over, they love em. It's a regular circus at our house.

Hows the foot doing?? Running around drunk all night did not do wonders for my knee either. A tad sore today. We can ski suck at Alta. I should be good on my snowboard though, well I hope.

La Tienda is why I live this far north!!!

    Ill definitely let you know.

As for PT, hit it hard if you want the season that bad, and you will. My PT always said, work it till it hurts, then back off one notch, pain(not soreness) is your guide. I did my ankle REAL bad in college and 7 years later, it is still sore quite a bit.

With PT, have the attitude going in that THIS is what is going to get you back on the hill!!! And talk a lot about skiing to EVERYONE in there. It will make you work that much harder.

Good luck and work it. I really looked forward to PT, even though I knew I was going to hurt after, I loved every minute of it. Plus I had 3-5 other skiers in there so we just talked about how strong we will be when we get back at it.

Altachic knows a bit about PT too. She rocks.

    Talking Thank you

It was sweet to see every one again. great to meet the good folk in that part of the country. My family enjoyed the trip, Zman was stoked with the Bob Mc kids and that little cutie from Logan I forget her name.

Sorry I was toxic, tired and cold but thats what 2 Gallons of Casadores & 72 hour trip to GDL will do to me.
I wish I could make it out to the Halloween bash but I've got some entertaining to do my self.
It looks like perhaps this Tues day I will go to the MSP deal at Skybox. see you there. aybe pull off the TGR deal but not sure.

we will do it again at mi casa real soon

Altachick did I miss you again?

Brett AKA HUGEAIRDOG was there? Or is it a different Brett?

Sounds cool... seattle maggots, if you bring the llamas, I'll bring... myself. And maybe some other stuff.

Yeah, Llamas are sweet. I really wanted to go Llama tipping but I couldn't find them in the pasture. Maybe next time.

Thanks Buzz and the Mrs. Buzz for the hospitality. Had a great time even if Altachic and I spent more time on the road then the party. Sorry we missed some of you, hopefully at one of the other upcoming preseason get togethers.
