Edmonton, Cochrane, Calgary, Canmore, Banff pick up for 3 days in Revy??

We have a 14 Passenger van, Licsensed and registered as a commercial passenger transport vehicle. www.canoeheads.com in the summer. Not the blue van on the website, it's a 2004 White Chevy, clean clean and nice with studded winter tires.

If there is a enough interest we can take the van and help everyone save a bunch of dough.

Going to Revelstoke for Feb 12 night, ski 13, 14, 15 and back to Edmonton, via Calgay for late on the 15th after skiing.

Not lookin to make money, just lower costs for all involved. Gas costs is shared for all in the van and few courtesy bucks to the owner of the van for wear and tear etc...

we are staying downtown Revy and just ask others get to the van on time to go the hill.

If I don't get any interest here, then there will be no pick ups.

Thought maybe this might help out a few people getting to Revelstoke for a couple of days.

It's deep right now, these were shot yesterday and sat. The " Gates" were closed so the slackcountry should still be in good shape from a very busy day yesterday.

If your group has gear and knowledge check in with the patrol hut at the top of the stoke. These guys are super cool and approachable. Just plaster them with your questions, the snow report is honest to a fault (11cm's on Sunday? hmmm more like 30+ in south bowl, it's refreshing to see instead of the marketing dept doing it.) so ya know that the ski patrol won't lead you astray.

Critical summit will give u great options into north bowl, watch for cornices here as they were very large and overhanging on Sat. South bowl is great just past jaleneno as well.

Don't try either if the vis is not good or if you don't have a local guide. Lot's of people being a wee bit too adventurous.

    More south bowl from sunday.

Thanks for the info, sadly we will be sticking to the resort, we have gear but have not taken a avy course yet, I know how to use it, but until I take a course and get out with some knowledgable people, it's inside the ropes for me.

Great pics, can't wait to make some turns.

Don't forgot about the groomers. If the snow is good they are the best I have seen. The run under the old chair at the bottom is f-ing sweet, as is the run that is skier's right above this. Good way to get down to the bottom.

The gondi line is filling in as well if it snows this would be fun, check the pillows on skiers right about halfway up, there is also some nice treelines to skiers left before the pillow line.

The inbounds area of north bowl is huge so you will get your alpine fix without going out of bounds.

Have fun. I love it there, kicking myself for not buying something when I had the chance.

Left EDM at 4 PM and arrived in Revy at 12:15 PM

Roads were snow covered and wet and slushy past Canmore.

Rogers Pass at the Best Western was completely off the hook, holy shit snow batman, get the pow Sticks Robin. Big Rigs were stuck everywhere.

Powder Springs INN is great, they let us use the hot tub on our arrival.

Having breakfast right now, buffet, all the trimmin's

Happy Birthday to me, gonna go get me some POW POW.
