This is my first post so feel free to give me a "warm" TGR welcome.
I am looking to replace my first year Armada Ants. I am thinking of the Lotus 120 in either 190 or 200 and flex two or three. These will be a quiver ski for mostly Loveland and I also head to Jackson Hole Grand Targhee a few times per year. I am a 6' 3" 190# pinhead. The Armadas are perfect for 75% of the Targhee and Loveland wind hammered cut up and crud. On the real deep fluff days I tend to stuff the tips to much. Probably my fault but I think a bigger ski with a slight rocker would help this and if the ski was stout enough it would still handle the cut up days. So my question is what flex and what length and are there other skis to consider. I want a ski similar in stiffness and length as the Ants but not stiffer or shorter.
I don't think I want a full rockered pure powder Praxis type ski.
I am also concerned on durability. I have heard about the sidewalls delaminating but I don't know how common this is.
Thanks to Marshal for the input at your shop today
James.
