If you're only gonna pay $50 you'll end up with a $50 graphic and is that really how you want to represent your company?
Nothing against the many solid ideas posted in this thread, but as with anything you get what you pay for, and since your business is all about image and images do you really want to go with something that's just OK for your first impression on potential clients?

I had them do a design for a project last year and they did a great job. They charged me a flat $500 fee and produced multiple ideas and revisions, and when we finally decided on one they supplied me with multiple versions for various formats, plus we fully own the graphic so I don't have to worry about them asking for more money down the road if I use the graphic for other things then it's original intent.
