Also, who is camping at HoJo's for Friday night? Sounds like the party for Sat is in the valley with the ValleyGirl...

I may have to be moved to the maybe list... which sucks. I'll be around, and I might not be able to take off from Attitash, as it is now our closing weekend there. If there is a party in the flatlands, I would be heavily interested in meeting up with some mags at night time.

Also, last Thursday at Attitash did NOT suck.

i'll be there w/ a 3-5 non mags depending on the weather...im a fair weather skier

honestly, if it's raining or if there is no chance for some corn, i usually don't head up...otherwise we'll be there.

missed it last sunday...would have been a great day up there. avi conditions were a little sketch, but it would have been great day if your timing was on.

today will help with the thaw/freeze cycle that we need but as the report cautions, we need more warmth or a big rip (w/ no one on it!)

Loose snow and thin slab avalanches are the most likely scenarios today, but we must address the bigger dragons that are in Tuckerman. Deep cold slabs still exist that did not avalanche in our most recent big cycle on Saturday. These are going to require more rain, melt and heat to penetrate into the snow to get them to avalanche than the slabs previously discussed. The warm weather is breaking down some of the tensile strength that is helping them stay put. While today's weather isn't ideal for waking these dragons, I will say that if one of them goes, it is going to be big.

the injury from the magic weekend is much better now and would be fine by that weekend.

problem is, work. the ol' 9-5 has me booked - i can't get out, so i am out. shit, i really wanted to do this, too.

I'm thinking I guess I'll run a local trail half-marathon that weekend instead.
(the following weekend i'm doing a 50K ultra.)
