if the weather still looks good on friday I am heading up. got a buddy and some of his people heading in on saturday. anyone from nyc going and want to share gas? probably leave 5 or 6 on friday night, head back sunday morning. i can grab a car from the burbs or could split gas in someone else's ride.

Shit, I'm stuck going to a party in York Saturday... I think it may kill my whole weekend. Bumps at SR last weekend were STELLAR. Skiing Agony with some of those meathead meatheads. Wish I could get some this weekend...

Anyone doing Loaf the weekend after? If Wildcat stays open, maybe I'll go there, instead. Any decent zipper lines at the Cat??

First of all I couldn't believe how many people were there, I'd guesstimate about 1,000:

The wind was blowing down the mountain (Damnit!) so I treeked up to see if I could find some fields at the top. I did find some pretty good fields but they were also angled down wind a bit too. I put up the kite anyways and struggled to stay up wind for a bit. Then I noticed there was a field that headed towards the summit of Mt Washington which was a bit better for the wind.

Planning to be up on Mt. Washington Friday and Saturday. Ski routes tbd. Perhaps Hillmans/Dodges area 1 day and Gulf of Slides the other. Ravine is pretty destroyed with runnels, bushes, traverse lines, bumps etc... Drop me a PM if you plan to be up there.

^^^Achtung: Ravine is pretty destroyed, but still plenty of great lines to be had up there. Hillmans still has fantastic coverage and hear Gulf of Slides still full of smooth corn. Worry about the rain forecast moreso than the snow coverage. Still tons of snow in them there hills. Sherbourne ski out getting ugly though....
