Sheeat, there isn't even a mention on Squaw's home page.
There's a mention under the activities tab that says little more, with a link that doesn't work.
Seems to be a real lack of info this year on the events.

edit: Just talked to someone. Looks like it's Enchated Forest tomorrow, Light Tower Friday.

lots of big air and carnage.... impressive as hell what these guys are doing in this snow.

o'meara sent ice goddess huge and smooth and should be one of the top scores heading into tomorrow. i don't know many names, so i don't want to say something and get it wrong. i wanna say cliff bennet (sp?) had a sick run as well....

huh, and I'm assuming I'd need a lift ticket to watch. Sorry, I only make it to squaw about once a year.

yeah, it's up off headwall so you'd have to figure out a way to get up KT, the Funitel, or Squaw One i guess...

Will results make it to usfreeskiing today? They seem to be pretty slow with the coverage.

dooood....I got so effing crushed today. Had a tumble to a recovery off of my top air, Tombstone...which had me narrowly missing a tree as I got my feet back underneath me. And then at the end of my run, after landing my bottom air and straightlining through the hardpack/chunder/reef I caught an edge or something and got slammed harder than I have in a loong long time. I may have blacked out for a second. The last thing I remember is looking at the finish, and feeling my one ski get tossed and next thing I know my face is about to slam into a frozen mogul. I got one killer black eye and my body feels like I got thrown from a moving bus. I'm going to be sore and on the sidelines for a little recovering. It kinda hurts to breathe...that can't be too good

Just talked to PMgear skier, Bobby Lee, and he said he made the cut into tomorrow's round. He said the top 3 are Kevin O'Meara (sent Ice goddess from the top), Bryce Newcomb, and Craig Garbiel in 3rd.

There was some great skiing today. Gonads had a great run going before a random pre-release took her out. O'meara is on a different level. It's pretty tight between top 20.... maybe 6 or 7 points. Tyrone had a huge air that he stuck, but slammed hard on the outrun. It was some tricky snow for sure. Light towers is going to be a fast exit with serious traverse marks. Should separate the men from the boys...or at least the skiers from the huckers.

Thanks for asking. yeah, i'll be alright. I didn't think I blacked out until I talked to everyone afterwards. I thought I had immediately put my hand up to wave to everyone that I was ok immediately after I stopped tumbling, when I guess in reality it was a few seconds or more longer? I don't recall that. I have a big puffy black eye and some scrapes on my forehead where my goggles meet my helmet and my torso feels like it got run over by a truck. I guess I faceplanted and somersaulted a few times? I just remember the snow inches from my face and coming in FAST...then I was trying to wave to the crowd to say I was ok. definitely one of my top 3 or so gnarliest falls since i've been skiing.

(did we meet or chat at all up there? sorry if I don't remember Gern Blansten was one of my favorite record labels back in the day...heh).

Get that air to crush shit off your avatar, Ty!
    It's subliminally suggestive.

It's just like I told you today -

Haha, yeah my pride still hurts from that one. I can't believe I slid all the way to the bottom and took out the photog's skis and tree. Durrr. All that was going through my head beforehand was "Wow, I can't believe I stomped that... wowwww" then BAM.

Anyone have results from today? I went off sledding up castle peak so I could cry alone in solitude...

And good luck to everyone in finals tomorrow, and better luck to everyone else who ate it. I know I'm cranking my dins some more for crested...

I didn't qualify. I took a fairly mellow line down that I knew probably wouldn't cut it but I stayed on my feet which is something I really needed to do for myself. Props to those who made it. Sorry to those who fell.
